don't listen to any of these fools. make him feel the wrath of the headclamp. all that supposedly romantic junk i don't remember any of that. make some beer bread and like totally burn it. arrange it so that your heads collide like coconuts.

This was great, and we didn't have to spend a bunch to do it. yesterday AM, I got up really early and go on the phone to a steamship company about 4 hours away from us, and booked us in for a sunset dinner cruise. It was the most amazing thing ever, cause, he didn't expect it at all. It was so romantic watching the sun set on one side of the boat and on the other the biggest full moon we had ever seen rise. Do something on a whim. There are not enough good surprises anymore.

get on your knees in front of him and then... pick up your purse and walk out the door to go do something that involves something sensual, something as simple as movie staying in at night, or some fancy resturaunt... place isn't nearly as important as words...
One of the most romantic things my girlfriend and I have done, is we got a portable DVD player, we went down to the lake for the evening, watched the sunset as we stayed next to each other, we kissed while the sunt set, and watched the movie wrapped up in each other... one of my favorite things.

find out his biggest hobby or like a fav band... and research it and surf ebay and most of all brainstorm about it and catch him off guard... I have done it and it will shock him if done properly...
