I am trying to start over again after a 7 year marriage. I am 28 and I don't really know what to do on a date. I don't know how to act around men in the beginning of a relationship either. I tend to scare them all off before we can get to the 2nd date.

Welcome back. I just re-joined the dating scene after 9 years in a relationship (I'm 26). I've been doing it for about 6 months, it gets better. You learn how to be yourself and what to talk about. Enjoy it, it's fun!!!

LOL..I feel ya Hun i was in the same boat...basically be urself i know u feel..things have changed so much. and if all else fells ask the guy..i though it sounded stupid at first but most men r really sweet about answering questions..alot of the time they r in the same boat as well and trying to get back into the swing of things..but basically relax,be urself and most of all have fun..this is ur life and u have a new start... ok hun 1st of all u need to build up on self-confidence before u can start dating again. wen u feel confident only then u allow urself to date again, learn to have fun,interact with more people, go to parties, or even make one & u start building a new relations. u'll have a really good time. also have fun & find urself a new style kinda like a new identity u knw. go to the salon get the latest hair do & change ur hair color. shop fer fresh new clothes & get diff ways to do ur make-up. u'll feel like a brand new person & trust me u will love urself more, & THAT guys find attractive. rmbr to stay positive & steer clear of commitments its too early.

you are not alone on this .I was also married for 7 years and am finding it hard trying to open up and shair my feeling with some one. I am so in love with her but can bring my self to tell her. maby it is because where out of touch with the dating thing. try taking things slow and relax it dose seem to work. Good luck.
