you could do a re-enactment of the day yall first got together but change the last of the night/day and tell her this is the best year of your life. no flowers because flowers die(which is not a sign of love growing,ya know) you could get a small flower pot and put seeds in it and have a card for her that says" our love will continue to grow everyday, and if there is any wind trying to break us...our love is too strong and it wont break" god luck and let me know how it goes

Actually, "do her laundry" is probably a pretty good start. The thing most women secretly want is for men to take over their work for them. Yeah. Men are supposed to slay the wooly mammouth, defend the cave, repel invaders, bring home the bacon, AND do all the housework.
Couple of other ideas: Skydiving. Screw her in the ***. Listen.

You could re-create your first date, if possible. I've always liked that idea.
If you don't have a re-creatable first date, then do something you know she will love! If she loves ballet, take her to the ballet. Take her to her favorite restaurant! Or make her dinner; stay home, rent movies, and eat the dinner you made. She'll love it.

Take her somewhere to a roadtrip to somewhere close by yet romantic for a weekend. We went to Niagara-on-the-Lake last year and this year we went on a cruise. It was fun and memorable!

i've always thought that renting out a really nice hotel room sounds really fun. not anything too extravegant, but it's something out of the ordinary.

make dinner at your house and place candles and rose petals all over then when she get there and you set to eat play your song b her something romantic like her favorite scent, ect and make her favorite food . things like that
