6 years ago i met a girl whom i was physically attracted to immediately. At that time i was already into a steady relationship with my partner of 10 years. The 1st 6 months of the relationship with this girl was purely physical though we both at that time did talk about our feelings for each other, we just never acted on it except with sex. As time went by, we continued to be friends and keep intouch every couple of months for coffee or a movie but without the sex. Late last year, we got involved in a business project together and started to see more of each other. we now see each other once a week despite our business project has been completed. We still dont have sex but somehow have this strong emotional bond together. Being two highly egoistic people we dont confess our emotions but also because of the different circumstances we tend not to say anything about our emotions. Meanwhile my relationship with my partner is going nowhere. what should i do.

Sounds like you are two type A personalties with the chase and conquest being the high point. Now you have the good memories from the short term past and the occasional distraction from the rest of your life. All rather superficial. Meanwhile the relationship with your present partner is past that conquest stage so it is boring to you. Maintaining a relationship is hard. Perhaps you should look at that as your challenge.
