Is it possible to choke on a ice cube, or would it melt all the way before you could breath again?

It depends on the size and shape of the ice cube.

I don't know, but I do know that the perfect murder weapon is an icicle because it will melt and there will be no evidence, so the same thing could go with an ice cube. If you choked someone with an ice cube, the evidence would melt....cool...

I do not believe that the ice cube would have enough time to melt in the time that it takes you to choke to death. However, being that icecubes are very slippery, I think it would be hard to actually choke on one. I don't remember ever having heard of someone choking to death on an icecube.

my friend had choked on an ice cube when we where younger i was laughing to hard to help her but luckily there as a more responsable person around to do the heimlich menouver on her and get it out... i think if i was choking on an ice cube i would get some really hot water and drink it would that work?? that shoulda been the question lol

It is possible to choke on anything even your own saliva, but if you are suseptible to chocking why out an ice cupe inside your mouth? of course unless you have somebody close by that know the himlet manuever it may be miss spelled but you knwo what it is or can find out haw is done thru the internet, Don't risk it unless is an accident. In my entire life I have not seen the need for such thing. Thank you

You can choke on an ice-cube, whether or not you choke to death depends on a number of factors: ie gag reflex, size of cube, the heat in your trachea, and your endurance.

It's possible to choke for a few minutes...But sooner or later the ice will melt....So I don't think you will die because of choking that ice...by the way...we're choking in our esophagus...not trachea...so why scared of dying?

I think it is possible if the ice cube is small enough to fit down your throat w/o melting, but large enough where it wont melt fast.
