I don't think it is about trusting guys...it is about trusting everyone, including yourself. Not all men want to rape people. And it doesn't have anything to do with the actual act. It is a power and control thing. Keeping that in mind, I think that when you or whoever is ready to move forward, you must learn to trust again. It is only as safe or unsafe as you make it.

Yes, just for the fact you can't be well you could be fearful butyou can't hide all of your life, I'm sorry for whatever happened to you. You ccan't use it as a bias though. Thats like saying all black people are murderers justcause one has killed someone else.

There are plenty of guys who are gentlemen. Are you hanging around some nasty places where crooks and assholes hang around ?
Learn how to protect yourself by staying away from dangerous places. Don't get drunk or taking drugs.
Don't hang around those slutty night clubs and dress like a prostitues.
Learn to present yourself respectfully and many people will respects you more.

Not all of us are like that. But you need to be cautious and always keep one of those pepper sprays. Also, if you are in a neighborhood that's known to be unsafe, don't hesitate or feel bad about asking someone to accompany you.
