I've been "friends" with this guy for like a year. And for my birthday he got me this silly book.

For christmas I've bought him an autographed picture of his favorite baseball player

it only cost me like $11 on ebay, with an extra $3 for a cheap frame that i found, but it looks really expensive

im afraid hes gonna think im a crazy stalker because it'll look like I spent a lot of money on it and i didnt

HELP!

Stop worrying. Just relax and let him enjoy his gift. He is probably not obsessed with the cost. If it looks more expensive than it is, great. He will only think you are a great friend. Stop second guessing yourself. Relax. Besides, guys are not as aware of cost as girls are.

Stop thinking about it. I like it when I can find something that looks more expensive that it is. You did a good thing.

How do you get stalker out of getting a gift for someone? If you like him let him know other wise you are gonna never know amnd maybe miss the chance of a life time.

Getting Inexpensive gift does not equal stalker, there has tobemoreto the story than that to make you seem like a stalker.

That does not make you a stalker and if "your friend" sees the gift, he will just think you put some thought in it. Don't fret too much. He should like it and think nothing of it. It's a baseball card (guys like sporty things) and not a key to your heart.

DO you know what STALKING means?? Here's Webster's Definition: (Yes, I did pull out the Webster's Dictionary)

intransitive verb
1 : to pursue quarry or prey stealthily
2 : to walk stiffly or haughtily
transitive verb
1 : to pursue by stalking
2 : to go through (an area) in search of prey or quarry *stalk the woods for deer*
3 : to pursue obsessively and to the point of harassment
ñstalk£er noun

C'mon--you bought the dude a gift---RIght!!??---You're not OBSSESSING over or HARASSING him--RIGHT??!!

SOOOOoo---IT was nice of you to do such things

Heck, at least he gave you SOMETHING for your birthday

Yeah right! This guy will go crazy for it probably... gys don't thinka bout "oh this must have been expensive" or "wow this is cheap." Plus if he does think its stalkerish which he should not just tell him it was $11

Nah why should he? It's the thought that counts, just give it to him in a 99 cent store bag and problem solved.

Nah, I'm sure he'll be very impressed and happy about it. If he likes you at least as a friend, he'll appreciate the gift.

he won't think that.

He's probably tellling himself that he has to get you something better than a silly book next time.
