It is difficult if you eat your meals with your family. You'd have to ask your mom if she agrees to serve vegetarian food to you every day.
I became vegetarian since I moved to my own place. It was not difficult at all.

I'm 12 and I'm a vegetarian. It wasn't hard at all for me to quit eating meat. Yes I live in a family of meat-eaters. My dad says "Animals were meant to be eaten. That's why God put them on the earth: to feed us," which I don't agree with at all, but there is no way that I'm going to quit being a vegetarian. He can't force meat down my throat. I am also perfectly healthy.

It's not as hard as it sounds. A lot of food these days is geared to vegetarians, but even if you don't have the option of getting tofu or meatless products that taste like meat, you can still get your protein from lentils, cheese, and legumes. Get enough iron because that's where vegetarians can go wrong. Don't just eat junk food though, even though it's easy. Drink plenty of milk to get calcium and eat more carbs. because you will run out of energy. As for family issues, remind everyone politely that you have chosen a new pattern of eating. It might be hard, but just remember that your family cares for you, so they have right to be concerned that you won't get enough food or nutrients. If being a vegetarian is tough at this moment in your life (it might be easier when you grow older and can fix things for yourself), just keep trying to avoid eating meat.

It is not at al hard being a vegetarian. It is good for your health and save from somany adverse factors. Read -
Vegetarianism is the practice of not consuming meat, with or without the use of other animal derivatives, such as dairy products or eggs. Some people choose to refrain from wearing clothing derived from animals, such as leather and fur. Veganism, in particular, excludes all animal products from diet and attire, whether or not this involves the actual death of an animal (dairy, eggs, honey, down feathers and silk). Vegetarians are found in countries across the world with varied motivations including religious, ethical, environmental, and health concerns.
The American Dietetic Association, the largest organization of nutrition professionals, states on its website "Vegetarian diets offer a number of nutritional benefits, including lower levels of saturated fat, cholesterol, and animal protein as well as higher levels of carbohydrates, fiber, magnesium, potassium, folate, and antioxidants such as vitamins C and E and phytochemicals."
Studies show that a vegetarian mother's breast milk has significantly lower levels of pesticide residue than a non-vegetarian's.
Sometimes patients of alternative medicine are advised to adhere to a vegetarian diet as prescribed by the practitioners of such unconventional medical treatments. These patients are either asked to continue such a diet either for the course of the treatment or for longer durations. Ayurveda and Siddha medicine are examples of medical treatments that prescribe such a vegetarian diet. In such cases, the patient either follows vegetarianism for the defined period or sometimes continues long after the treatment is over.
Yes welcome to be a vegetarian. By practice you can become a vegetarian.

No, as long as your family respects your decision and cooks different meals for u. I come from a family that used to all be meat eaters. My sister made the transition for her bf. I made the transition for my bf. Now the rest of my family is catching on to the same trend by reducing their meat consumption. They'll eventually get used to your special diet and possibly embrace it. They will be cautious about what they cook for dinner and consider veggie meals.
There are loads of different things you can make while having a vegetarian diet! Just check out your library or peruse the web pages (using google) to find some good recipes that maybe your mom/dad could try out for dinner!
Good luck! And try it out for some time! If not, you can always just reduce your intake of meat.

It is not hard to become a vegetarian but
My suggetion is to start out slowly as your body might not be able to adapt without meat. Start by taking more veg in your meals but still with some lean meat (steam fish is a good option).
Most people opt to become vegetarian is due to religion. If yours is due to just health wise, I would seriously suggest you still take some meat. (Not fried or fatty meat)
Maybe 80% Veg, 20% Meat.

I am the only vegetarian in my family, among my friends, and in my work environment. I don't think it is hard, but everyone gives me a hard time about it. I avoid leather items, too. I just can't stand the thought that some little animal died because of me. (It is also a bit fun to be different.) Good luck.

Well it all depends what you mean by you want to become a vegetarian.
Do you want to be a VEGAN?
It's not hard to be a vegan and just eat vegetables and no meat. I am sure you're family will accept the fact that you don't want to eat animals.

I am not a vegan myself but know people who are. It all depends on what you want, and if you really like dairy and eggs. I don't think it would be any harder one way or the other if dairy and eggs are no big deal to you. I wish I could do that, it is healthier!, but I love meat and cheese to much! Good luck to you.
