You need to find the Recovery Cd's that came with your pc. Put then in your cd-rom. Turn off your computer. Go to Boot Options. You need to boot off those Cd's which will allow you to reformate your hard drive. Make sure you delete the partition and then create a new one. Then you will go through a series of menus which you pretty much hit next on everyone. This will reload your Operating System. You computer will look like it did when you first bought it. Make sure you save everything you want prior to doing this because you will lose everything. I hope that helped.

if it is a clone you could fdisk your hard drive u will need a boot disk u could creat one from your computer or get one online u could check your windows help for further assistance on boot disk or reformatting drive on start menu u need to fdisk the hard drive and will delete everything turn off computer with boot disk inside and then load windows and software if not a clone the the same just dont install windows load recovery disc and your computer would be as new u could also delete the things that u dont need insteed go to control panels on start menu add remove programs and uninstall what u dont want or added on stuff and delete any files documents and clear history cookies and favorites and temporary internet files

Rebooting your computer will just restart your computer. If you meant how to start it where a software program will automatically check it for viruses, worms etc, You would need to load some software such as Nortons, AVG, Zone alarm and set it to begin working during startup.
