What kind of ill? It is very common for patients to report nausea/vomiting with this drug, especially if they take it on an empty stomach and/or are not used to the drug. If they make you nauseated or vomit, cut the pill in half and take it with a meal. That should help.

My husband got very ill while taking it on recovering from a knee surgery. It made him feel nauseated and just kinda sick to the stomach. Taking it with a meal helped a little bit but not a lot. Everybody has different reactions to medication, I can take the same thing as him and it doesn't do anything for me... I have to take three times as much and then it barely helps the pain and doesn't make me feel ill at all. Good luck... talk to your doc about getting something different or try taking it with food/more food.

I've never personally tried the medication, but here's a little food for thought. If a medication is not curing your problem, it's probably making it worse. Consider not taking it if not necessary after speaking with your doctor or ask your doctor for an alternative.

I've never taken it, but I know that it is a common side-effect for such potent pain-killers to cause nausea and vomiting.
