People, need to know one thing, God knows your heart, and he wants to give us our hearts desire, Its not up to God in this, he gave that back to us. We choose our mates, Sure if you are a true Christan, your going to wait for God to bring him into your life,
But if your not, your going to lust after men till you fall in Love.
that goes on, and on, Amen.
But listen, God is not a wizard, a Physic, or one who cast spells.
But he is the giver of Love.
God is Love.
And if your in Love, God did that.
So its up to you and the guy to have a relationship. As long as its girl boy not boy boy, girl girl, Romans 1.
But now its time to trust your self.
A bless God by saying thank you.
Only he can create love like that.
Enjoy it. protect it.
let it grow.
make a destination you and your guy, serve God together, after all he did let you find each other. Amen

God wasn't meant to fulfill what you need....it's the other way around you were made to serve the lord. Yes he does answer prayers...they may not be what you want but the Lord has a plan that he wants you to follow...i know this may be hard but we talked about this a few sundays ago that maybe you were made for singleness....maybe the boy doesn't like you so you're heart broken but then later you meet a guy that is better and if that other boy was with you, you wouldn't have met the better one....so maybe he's answering your prayers...just not the way you want it......keep a prayer diary...and a month later or so look back and see how some little thing was answered....he really doesn't make something BIG happen it's usually little things....

I am a 19yr old spirit filled christian girl.
This is my testimony of a similar position that i was in 3 yrs ago now, my boy friend at the time i wasn't sure if he was "the one" so i had nothing left to do but pray about the pickle i was in, i asked the lord to take him away from me and let me fall out of love if this is not right and i would rather have this happen sooner rather than later.
He answered my prayer and we are still together 3 years later and now engaged.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that this will work that way for u, all i know is that Christ knows best and he will have you marry in his timing.
Its not about praying hard enough its about putting his ways first and loving the lord with all your heart mind and soul.......

Psalm 37
"Delight thy self in the lord and he will give thee the true desires of thine heart."

Why would you pray to God in the first place seeing you have no faith in Him. When you pray to God, you pray that His Will be done in your life. Where do you get the idea that God is a bag of prizes that He will give you when you pray to Him.

God put us here for His pleasure not ours. If the Father has led you to His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, and you have chosen, made a righteous choice to have Him be your Saviour, then after repenting of your sins, you become a new creation in Christ Jesus. You won't want to ask for anything then as all your needs will be met.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven, then all things will be given you.><>

Remember, the Lord always answers our prayers, sometimes it's yes & sometimes it's no. And most of the time it's not as quick as we want it. One more thing, that old saying "be careful what you wish for", it's true. Make sure you know this person before you contemplate marriage. Marriage is hard enough if you have know the person for a long time, just make sure you two get to know each other inside-out. Especially when it comes to kids, attending a church, lots of stuff that involves the rest of your life. I hope things go well for you.

Here is help from the Bible:

Mat 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

And

Jam 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

God means for you to trust Him, ask Him, and keep asking Him until He answers.

Keep in mind that God is not going to give you something contrary to His written word or the principles therein, or something that he knows is going to be bad for you (exception: Depending upon your individual circumstances, God may allow you something you keep asking for that will be bad for you to teach you a lesson you need to learn, but that will be for your ultimate good).

Jam 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.

Also, are you a Christian? If you're not, you have rejected Jesus Christ as Lord and Master of your life. If you've rejected Jesus, God the Father is not obligated to answer ANY of your prayers except the prayer where you repent of your sins and receive His Son Jesus as Lord and personal Savior.

If you love God before anything else, you would be more interested in His will for your life than getting what you want...and I don't mean that in a critical way, I just think perhaps you should change your perspective on prayer a bit.

If free will exists, then god cannot interfere in the affairs of humans. This includes miracles, interventions and even revealing himself. Think about it, if god intervenes in a situation, someones free will is impinged upon.

My advice, stop praying, start acting... and leave it up to the other person to say if they're interested or not.

Anything's possible. God doesn't answer selfish prayers, though.
