Well it does. WE simply can't dispute that there is a higher power in the universe. Even if lightning and mutation had caused the first spar of life on earth, there is no explaining how the raw materials that made life even came into existence. DOn't you think that it's strange how matter just decided to appear? a new scientific THEORY suggests that there are 11 dimensions in the universe. So what are 3D scientists with their three dimensional brains supposed to know about the creation of an 11 dimensional higher being. Speaking of theories, Evolution is one to. They say we can't test Creationism, but they can't test evolution either. Science is what you can experiment with, not what you just assume about the past. And no matter how you attack my statement, you have to accept the fact that evolutionists are just as narrow minded as Creationists. They weed out every possibility that there is a Creator and refuse to look at the evidence backing the opposing theory.

Let's say that we were all ants living in a garden that a person worked really hard on. But then again...... it just happened by chance didn't it?

Never confuse Creationism with science. There are two forms of Creationism -- the doctrine in faith that God created the universe, and then there is a pseudoscience created to obscure facts that contradict a literal interpretation of the Bible. The latter is a political doctrine designed to acquire a wedge into public schools, most recently manifesting as "Intelligent Design". Having lost the evolution argument, they have attempted to couple it with the far more confusing field of cosmology which is far less subject to experimentation.
As for the the assertion that experiments can't test evolution, they do. The world is a vast laboratory. Many careful observations have been performed on populations evolving, whether do to a natural disaster, introduction of a new species to the ecosystem, or as a result of Man's clumsy land management.
Creationism starts with one assertion and fights all potential challenges. Evolution does not challenge the existence of a Creator, only the literal interpretation of the Bible. Beware the word "evolutionist". It is a term coined by Creationists to attempt to demonize science, and place themselves on an apparent equal footing. I am a scientist and have never met an evolutionist yet. I am pleased to see that our questioner acknowledges his narrow-mindedness and justifies it by comparing himself to a non-existent group.

Once you said chance and that all those elements are unknown where they come, I knew you didn't know anything about what evolution is or what the big bang theory is.
Evolution is NOT random. Natural Selection is what drives evolution, and it is not random at all. Mutations are random, but even mutations are victims of natural selection. There are other process involved like genetic drift and breeding. Evolution can be observed through fossils, genes, and tested through breeding where you can see genetic drifts, mutation, and natural selection.
All the elements you see come from the big bang. In short, the big bang produces some explosion where two elements are formed. These two elements bring upon new elements. This is basic chemistry known as the periodic table. This can be observed through mega-suns that explode and the formation of new elements in galaxies.
I don't know about this 11d thing, but if it was discovered, it means our 3d scientists can see it somehow.
There is no evidence for creationism. If there was, scientists would accept it, but it just isn't there. If you have it, I invite you to post it on a journal and become immensely famous for it.

Your first statement was the only correct one in the bunch.....there is not a shred of proof behind creationism. Your belief in some kind of higher power is just that, your belief, it also has no kind of proof what so ever. Evolution is a theory but a theory based on scientific evidence and observation. Creationism is what? A story written by men 1700 years ago that still thought the earth was flat, the sun rotated around the earth, and lightning and thunder was god being angry.

Science isn't just what you can test, it's also what you can observe. Evolution can be observed to have taken place and to be taking place. Creationism cannot.
Yes, there is a scientific theory suggesting more than three spatial dimensions. No one with any understanding of it, however, would suggest that God exists in them, since God isn't meant to exist in physical space at all and there is no reason to say that existing in extra dimensions grants you omnipotence.
Also, it's not a theory in the scientific sense because it can't be tested or observed at this point. The extra dimensions would have to be far smaller than anything we can observe, and their existence has no impact on anything we can observe.
And what's with the ant thing? You're saying that gardens have creators so universes must too? Seriously, is it false analogy day or something?

Evolution is testable - it is SCIENCE. Many many predictions can be made based on Evolutionary Theory. And it is based on overwhelming scientific evidence. You have no understanding of what science is, yet you think you can attack science? The Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection (look up what 'Theory' means in science) is supported by abundant evidence, including the easily observed evolution of morphology in the vast fossil record.
You and your lying, misinformation spreading kind are the worst ambassadors possible for Christianity. Where are your morals?

It has a "shred of proof"? Great.
I'd have thought that if you were going to make that claim, you'd have said what that "shred of proof" was. How come you didn't? You should have at least made something up before exposing yourself like this.
Oh, god, Dom (below):
"Its about time someone pointed out that they are BOTH theiores.".
That has to be the funniest thing I've read in weeks. You're kidding, right?

There is no evidence to support creationism other than the bible, a book written by men who are fallable. Hate to disagree, but there is tons of evidence of evolution, which is going on all around us all the time. It takes millions of years! We have fossils that prove life existed before you people claim the world was even made! Get over yourself and let us believe what we want, and we'll treat you in kind.

the problem is the need for a creator to explain all this is in your mind. the notion of cause and effect is a product of this universe. therefore, to speak of something causing the universe is not valid, because the creation of the universe would precede the existence of cause and effect.
it's really much more believable that a whole lot of nothing exploded, joined its particles together in the outward blast, and randomly arrived at this point.

Yes we can easily dispute that the is a higher power. There is no evidence of a creator, and there is no explaining how the creator came into existence. Using your own "logic" it is just as easy to disprove your theory as to prove it.
