I have pretty long hair...and in a way, i wanna chop it off just to see how it looks, but i do like long hair and so do others, it just takes forever to grow back out. what do you think?

Look, its upon you...if u want ur hair grown-back in no time after you cut it, then better dont go for a cut, its really frustrating to wait for ur hair to grow back. And if u really look good in long hair then wuts the fuss all about? As far as experimanting with ur hair is concerned, its better not to cut ur hair in hurry...Go to a salon they'll scan ur image and u can kinda preview urself to different hair-styles... long or short. That will be kinda virtual hair-cut for u, u can consult ur friends bout ur short-hair image, and if u think it'll suit u, go for the cut otherwise...as i said waiting for hair to grow back is really frustrating.;)lol.

I had really long hair for years. I donated it twice, and after the 2nd time I said it was my turn to chop it and fry it. Well, I cut it short and LOVED it! But, then I got engaged and wanted it long for the wedding, so......growing it out again. But I love short hair, I think its so much easier with more options than my plan old thick straight hair. Don't do it!! It takes forever to grow back and if you hate it you'll be screwed! Try on a few short-haired wigs and see of you like the look before you commit to something like that. But I really prefer long hair.

Long hair is beautiful. How about trying to style it in a diferent way? Or maybe layers? But cutting could also be good for a change.

Maybe you should go to the Solon and ask her to just cut it 2 or 3 inches and then if you dont like it shorter than you only have a few inches to grow but i would ask your boyfriend or a friend

I like short hair on girls. womens necks and chins look sexy. unless you need it long to not look like a boy. It will grow back and while it does, you can experiment with different styles. If you cut it have it done so you can donate it to someone who needs it. Chemo patients, etc.

I think you should get one of those computer programs that let you experiment with how your image would look with different hairstyles. Look at it there and make your decision there. Don't chop good looking hair just on speculation.

Please cut your hair and donate it to cancer patients. I have donated my long hair twice in three years. It gives you such a great feeling of triumph and joy and it gives the cancer patient joy too. Plus I really like short hair. You get hardly any knots, easy to brush, use up less shampoo, no dead ends and really healthy, shiny hair. Good Luck!

i had long hair...really long..i chopped it off mid lenght and now my head feelz lighter and free and easier to manage...go fo it if ya like. hair will grow back but dont cut it too short

hey, why dont you just compromise, get layers or just a little bit off to freshen it a little that way when this full moon is over you wont be sorry that all your pretty locks are gone, please think about it alot before you do anything drastic.
dont you love having way cuter hair than all your buds?
