I am atheist, but I completely agree with you. I do not try to push it on anybody. I know how many religions there are out there, and each person believes just as strongly as the next (regardless of what religion they are part of) It is a shame that grown up people cannot realize that what they believe personally isn't the only right way.

Two reasons. 1; you keep pounding us with your religious faith.2;this is an open forum on all religious faiths not just one or one sects beliefs.
If you cannot understand your own faiths teachings and ask a qquestion here and get an answer not to your liking then you shouldn't have asked it without expecting some differing views as to its meaning.
Just remember that that door swings both ways.
Sometimes you have to answer a question with a question .
And there are more Christians that answer their own question when asking about it.be more careful of how you ask a uestion and respect others view points also.
There have been a lot of questions asked where the questioner can't keep their Deity's good and evil straight

I notice a lot of people are pounding muslims with leading questions. In fact some of the questions are downright offensive, ad they assume blatant untruths. You know, the kind of question that starts out: 'since such and such is so, then how come ...' and is only an excuse to attack the other party. If someone wants to attack, then they should do it openly, and not with hypocrital questions'.
On the other hand I think it is perfectly legitimate that people ask questions of Christians, muslims, or any other religion. The purpose of YAHOO ANSWERS is to get answers to thes questions. Personally, as a Christian, I welcome questions about my faith, even agressive questions by those who really want to have nothing to do with my faith. It may give me an opportunity to expose them to another way of thinking, that just might help someone to be a little more open-minded.
To be convinced of one's faith does not mean to deny there can be problems, intellectual difficulties, contradictions on the part of many who profess our faith but who live differently. We owe it to non-Christians to be willing to deal with these issues when they ask us.

Christianity is a very popular religion, and blind faith seems to be a huge problem. We want to force you to reflect critically about your religion, and should you choose to still keep that belief, then I respect that. I think that everyone should frequentely challenge their beliefs, yes even athiests like myself. sometimes I lean more towards agnostic, sometimes even a little zen philosophy in there. You can challenge your religion and still be a good chistian. oh yeah, and never try to force your religion down someone else's throat because we tend not to like that.

I am a Christian, and I do respect others of different faiths.I'm certainly not so narrow-minded as to think that Christians are the only religious group that are going to make it to Heaven.Only God can be the judge of that.

Close your eyes and ears and you will not read doubtful questions about your trusted religion. Sure the problem is not with the questions, the problem is that there could be a more correct answer than what your wise church gave you.

There is always a good way to avoid the truth, to close your eyes and ears!

People who bash other beliefs are incapable of morality and being respectful to others who believe differently from them. They don't belong here! They are not here for the right reasons. This is not a discussion/debate board.

let me sum up the answers you'll be getting

1) this is a public message board

2) you shove your faith down our throats all the time, and you push your morality on us

3) it is our job to challenge and discredit you because you are evil

I'm a Christian, I've been on here for a long time, and trust me, the same old questions get asked like a broken record.

you have to be respectful of ours as well, you guys treat this like it's the christian section--it is not and even if there was one you wouldn't leave us behind, now would you? What makes you guys so special that you can dish it out, but shouldn't have to take it?

I realize that a lof of Christians don't get it, but religion and spirituality encompasses a lot more than just Christianity.
