So I have been dating this girl for a few weeks and her birthday is in a week from now. I don't know what to get her for her birthday, as we haven't been going out for all that long, yet i still want to get her something.Any ideas?

I wouldn't get too carried away- it might scare her if you aren't all that serious yet. When my husband and I first met, he got me a very delicate, gold, chain bracelet for my birthday (which was only like 1-2 months into the relationship). For Christmas, we bought be a small set of diamond studs. It was enough to say that he really cared for me without going overboard. Stay away from electonics- he is still in the doghouse for buying me the dvd player he wanted for our 3 year anniversary!!! haha. My dad bought my mom a small weedwacker (one that she could handle easily) for her birthday one year and she was pretty upset. Good luck. Girls love jewelry- and flowers (even if they say they don't).

You can get this really cool necklace (I think it has birthstones too) called initially yours handcasted with initials engraved in silver (or something like that) from this site called http://www.HomeGrownMarket.com - there are also listings for gifts under $5, gifts under $10...and on up. Looks of cool stuff. And it's all handcrafted in the USA so I feel good about supporting other small businesses and women in our country!! If she likes history of Egypt then try some Egyptian Jewelry.
You can get her a silver cartouche pendant personalized with her name in Hieroglyphics. Or a silver Ankh bangle, that is a best seller.

Something like a CD or DVD would be nice. It shows you remembered, put some thought into it, without going overboard.
Of course, dinner out is a good thing too.

well depends how much you would like to spend.
little things mean the most to girls.
if you just want to do something small...then leave flowers on her car or something for her to find...then take her out for a nice dinner.
if you cook good then do it at your place.
girls like it when a guy can cook. :]

depending on where she shops, go get her a gift card. all girls love to shop! if not, buy maybe an inexpensive necklace or bracelet at piercing pagoda or something like that! good luck kid
