So I've had a relationship with this boy for about 4 1/2 years. We broke up. He went to Homecomming with someone else. It made me totally jealous. I know he gets jealous easily, so would it be wrong for me to get a boyfriend only to make him jealous and want me back? I know I could get one easily... boys are desparate at my school. But I like him. The only reason why he broke up with me is because we go to different highschools. So that means he still might like me right? And I really do know he would get jealous... Even if he didn't still like me. It would bother him, I know it. I just was his for so long...

Yeah I guess that whole idea was selfish. Owell, it was worth a shot. Sometimes I wish I would just let stuff go! If ya'll have any suggestions that would be ethical, please share?

I am really am sorry for the two of you. I think that both of you probably still have many feelings for each other, and he was probably just trying to forget about you. I don't think that it would be a good idea to get with another guy to make him jealous though. You and your ex-boyfriend should talk things out, give him some time, but when he is ready to talk tell him how you are feeling, you never know, he could be feeling the same way.

Jealous sometimes can prove how you love a certain person. But, when jealous is over it will become bad. Why you should make a boyfriend only for him to become jealous and will back to you? If you will do that you are playing a certain guy and at the same time you are hurting one individual. Talk to him. You can settle it in good manner. what a waste of a 4 yr. relationship then all of a sudden it will go for nothing because of a nonesense issue because you go to diff. highschools. Make your move. ACT NOW.

Getting another boyfriend to make someone jealous isn't fair to the new boyfriend or you. Leave it alone. When you're ready move on and find the right boy. If it's meant to be, your old boyfriend will come back, if not, move on.

You ask about jealousy, what about being selfish? Do you think it would be right to use another guy just to hurt another? I think if you want to get his attention you should find another way to do it. Or you might be putting someone in the same position you're in now. What's right about that?

i would be the same way for such a long relationship to be over is hard. If he meant to get you jealous than yeah he deserves to be jealous to but if not then let it go.

First of all, think how the poor guy you dated would feel is he knew he was being "used." I bet you wouldn't like that. Try dating different guys and you might find one that you like even more than your ex.

If you have to do something like that to get him back, he's not the one for you.
