Yes, but you need your parent's permission. Talk to your school counselor, and ask her to talk to your parents. IF you are suffering there is no reason for them to allow it to continue. You need to see a psychologist about your problems.

You may not tell your parents about this but you should not take the medication yourself. With out prescription of a qualified doctor the medicines will not be also given to you. The best thing is to consult a Doctor and tell the history and take action as per his advise.

An antidepressant is a medication designed to treat or alleviate the symptoms of clinical depression. Some antidepressants, notably the tricyclics, are commonly used off-label in the treatment of neuropathic pain, whether or not the patient is depressed. Smaller doses are generally used for this purpose, and they often take effect more quickly. Many antidepressants also are used for the treatment of anxiety disorders, and tricyclic antidepressants are used in the treatment of chronic pain disorders such as chronic functional abdominal pain (CFAP), myofascial pain syndrome, and post-herpetic neuralgia.

The main classes of antidepressants have similar efficacy, but the newer types are generally regarded to have a more benign side-effect profile and less risk of lethality if taken in overdose.

The best advise I would like to give you is - Practice Yoga and Meditation ion regular basis. It will cure you certainly.

Why do you think you need this? Are you an "EMO" kid and it's the cool thing to do? Trust me if you are truly depressed your parents will notice, and if they fail to notice then you need to let them know asap, depression does not go away on it's on, it requires immediate attention and if it goes untreated it will surley get worse... I suggest you address this issue soon.

Your parents will have to take you to your physician and he will prescribe them if you truly have a medical need for them. You will have to be examined by your physician and if you really need them then they will be prescribed. Start with talking to your parents because they really need to know how to help you.
