It appears that NK has tested a nuclear bomb, how should we respond?

There is not very much we can do other than condem them. The only thing worse than a NK with a bomb is a destabilized NK with a bomb. Now that they have it, all we can really do is make sure they do not sell it to any rogue regime or militant group. An invasion is not plausible because a war with them would mean the destruction of SK and an enormous refugee crisis that china would have to deal with, not to mention Japans vulnerabitlity in the region. The asian powers would never allow it unless all 3 (and probably russia because is shares a border with the country)countries would be involved in a lightening strike that would include a land, air and sea blockade and the complette closure of the boarder to make sure its authorities and scientists don't escape.

I wouldn't put it past them to use tons of dynamite to create a suitable seismic effect to fool the world into thinking they have, "THE BOMB". They literally blew the whole side of a mountain off in the process of creating a lake or dam some time ago. Never told the neighboring countries, just blew it up and scared the sh*t out of them. The leaders are a bunch of selfish, inconsiderate oafs. They pursue nuclear ambitions while thousands of the people are hungry, some starving. If they ever actually do detonate a nuke we can hope it will open a huge crack in the earth that swallows up all of the leaders so the people can be free.

Get China and Russia's help in setting up a blockade. Hold the line till NK exhaust itself out and collapse. Afterward, send in Donald to build lots of golf and ski resorts. NKs can work on them resorts.
