hmmm actual interesting question and lots of view points I see...your question is " is water the best tasting substance in the universe?"
one word reply NOPE taste is an individual thing, but water is required by our bodies to function properly. I use to drink nothing but coffee until I had a surgery now I drink mainly water it helps lots of things. But as for it being the best tasting thing I'd have to disagree I prefer a glass of chocolate milk

I like to eat water (ice), I think its an OCD. Did you know that if you put a bottle of unopened Dasani or Aquafina in the freezer for about 20 minutes and shake it, you can watch it freeze in slow motion right in your hand!?! Its like magic, at first it just seems like a plain ole bottle of water, but if the timing is right it slowly turns white inch by inch and becomes like a slurpee. I then cut the bottle open and eat it with blissssssss.

If you're water has a taste to it, you shouldn't be drinking it! But I do agree with you. Water is wonderful!

Good water is wonderful, but we have well water here that has an off taste, so we have to buy bottled.

Absolutely! There are many times when only a drink of water will do. You can't say that about anything else.

I know you cant live with out water .. but hey I wouldn't take anything for my Dr. pepper.. I can drank water everyday all day .. I have to have my caffeine.. sorry

water tastes like...nothing. and it never seems to be satisfying when I am thirsty. but I drink it sometimes anyway.
