If I see something for 100 Euros, do I divide it by 7.5 to get it into GBP Sterling and say 100 EUROS EQUAL 70 POUNDS?

Or is there a better way to work it out please?

100 Euros is about 67.4 Pounds. The simplest way is to calculate two-thirds of the amount of Euros and add about a Pound for each 100. For example, if you have 270 Euros, then two-thirds of that would be 180 Pounds, plus 2.7 Pounds because you have 2.7-hundered Euros. So the total would be 180+2.7 = 182.7 or roughly 183 Pounds. The actual conversion according to the exchange rate would give you 181.84 Pounds.

to get a coarse estimate the two take a third off the euro or divide by skill of three and double it. I used to stay in germany and continuously glided by skill of that tough technique. if something value me 21 euros i might say its sort of 14 pounds. I dont know the replace value however now so i could desire to be way off now. Ive in simple terms study you already do this oops sorry no greater desirable recommendations
