1st. satan desires to be a god so god sends him to rule hell
sure satan may have just been power-hungry but god has so much power why does he have to keep it all to himself??

2nd. adam and eve eating from the tree of knowledge so that they might know right from wrong and be like god
then god punishes them for disobeying him, though all they wanted was to be enlightened?

the pattern i see is god trying to keep other beings down
what is your take on this????????

definitely. the theme is repeated with the tower of babel's destruction.

the god of the old testament is a ****. he's vain, self-centered, easily hurt, murderous, capricious, tolerates fratricide...
and just might drown everyone if you annoy him enough. Oh, right, the rainbow - he did put that rainbow there to remind himself never to flood everyone again. In case he runs out of ritalin.

I think of it like a house, the House itself is the Garden of Eden, and God is like the Dad. Of course there's a Mom running the scene, but she never gets mentioned in most of the books. Adam and Eve are the kids, who do as kids will and not listen :) What the books fail to mention are the other 'houses' out there that Adam and Eve end up visiting :)

I see a pattern, God walked with them,[that's relationship] & made one commandent to them, they went their own way and Adam & Eve refused to take personal responsibility for their actions. God provided everything they needed, food, companship, no shame, dominon over the animals. It was satan's lie that said " you shall not surely die{first lie}, For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil" the serpent is charming but deadly and represents opposition to God. What did they feel first thing? shame that they were naked, loss of relationship with God as they hid from Him, they were afraid of Him, the experiential knowledge of evil. But God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. [ that's love] before He casts them out of the garden of eden,BECAUSE OF THEIR actions againest Holy God.

I see a pattern of God having patience with sinful man ,and still loving him, despite their sins. God wants to have a relationship with man and Holy God can not look on sin. So, He sends His Son to make atonement for our sins[ that's love} so we can be reconciled with Him and have a personal relationship with Him as He desired from the beginning. Don't blame God for what man & satan destroyed. and that's my take on this.

That God only trusts himself with being God. As cool as it would be for me to be God, I couldn't do it because I would abuse the power which is why He wouldn't let me in the first place.

God Who.....

We are responsible for our own actions Godfull or Godless.
I am Godless now, and my actions have been 500% better than they were when I was GodFull.

Makes me wonder what the world would be like if man had not have created such an evil being(God).

If God wanted us to be low and "down" as you say then we would be lower than his angels and not have dominion over all creatures.

No, that's just biblical doctrine. If you believed the bible was the word of God you wouldn't be questioning it's authority.
