You need to press 1 because you don't speak a foreign language.
I speak 6 languages, and I can choose what language I want to hear today.
Every time I hear people complaining about other people speaking a different language, I feel sorry for their laziness of not enrolling into a course and learning something new that will expand their horizon.
Spanish is great! You should try it. It is a beautiful, rich language, and also very useful nowadays. Get used to it. The world is evolving this way. People need to crawl out from under their rock, and realize that Spanish is the language spoken by the most native speakers (you could say Chinese, but there is no "Chinese" but many languages like Mandarin, Cantonese, etc), and English is also widely spoken all over the world, but not by natives. It is simply a second language.
Americans are not stupid. So I don't really understand why they insist in limiting themselves to one language.
Instead of promoting hate towards other cultures by buying a t-shirt, that will only make you look like an ignorant mono linguistic xenophobic individual, go to your community college, and learn something.

you a typical american idiot that thinks that everyone in the world should speak english. If you haven't noticed the world is diverse and so is the US. There is NO official language in the US so wise up idiot. People can speak what ever language they want. If they don't learn english it only affects them not you. Are you one of those lazy white people that cant search on the internet or create it yourself and have to post a question so someone can do it for you. No wonder the US is the most hated nation in the world. Arrogant white americans!!

Why? Do you want to be constantly reminded by people passing by that THIS IS AMERICA?
There are a lot of Spanish speaking people in the South, so they are a recognized group that gets special consideration from the gov't.
You don't like it? You might want to give up your own special consideration first — English is NOT America's official language. It's its DEFAULT language.
In closing, don't get upset when you have to "press 1 for English". Get upset when you have to press 2.

If they don't make one, we need one. We need to start paying the Minutemen to guard the border along with Border Patrol and Military. The illegal immigrants are doing more harm to the USA than the Terrorist are.
