She bites a spot on the base of her tail a lot. I asked the vet about this once and he said he didn't see anything unusual there. Any suggestions? Home remedies? Cortisone doesn't seem to help.

My dog does this sometimes. My vet told me to buy some Anti fungal human foot spay ...It worked for my dog.

Give her a flea bath & add Dawn Dish Washing Detergent it says it's a Home Remedy to kill the fleas.The Flea season is almost over so the biting should stop really soon.Good Luck

mange is something you can't see or she might have fleas and its bothering her...try a flea treatment and if that doesnt help within a few days then maybe she has mange...

you should give her an iching doggie crean thing go to a pet store and ask them bout it
