Pens write better when you expose the tip? Is this somehow a spiritual revelation?

I got to playing with a bunch of pens. PEN01 was pretty plain, just black ink, PEN05 was kinda nifty, it was glitter ink, PEN12 was one of those squiggly pens with the motor in it? But when I started to play with my PEN15, I found Jesus!
