The belief in God is a human trait that acts as a stabilizing function of our sophisticated self-aware consciousness. If we had no feelings of a higher power, then our consciousness could not evolve into a self aware state. But they do make a suspicious amount of cash, don't they?

Well who care's? Live your life to your own be good and caring and dont tell lies or hurt other people thats all that really counts but i guess people need faith in something in order to motivate them i have faith in spirtuality but thats my choice and buddisim is not so much a religion but a way of living life and in my opinion it is one that makes the most sense out of everything as they do not judge and keep an open mind and dedicate them selves to meditation and inner strength.

God does NOT exist in all reigions - only Theistic religions.

e.g. Buddhism does not include a god.
