people who have already been to prom in the past...?

i need help, my prom is in spring but i don't know when to ask a girl to it and what i should plan before and after prom. help please

as long as after, my moral standards are high, no sex or anythign like that

Give her at least one month, no more than 2. If you give her more than 2 months, it seems like you're trying to "trap" her. But, if you give her less than a month, she will feel VERY stressed about getting everything done on time.

Go in a group! It is always the most fun to go to Prom or any other dance in a group, trust me! The whole group should plan it together, too. Beforehand, people generally go to one person's house and their parents take a buttload of pictures. Then, everyone goes out to dinner, followed by the dance. The after-party is up to you! You could just have a movie night at a house, or you could rent a hotel room or go on a campout if your parents are cool with that. It is always best to offer to let everyone (both sexes) spend the night--not because you plan on doing anything "bad," but because people will probably be too tired to drive home.

If parents aren't okay with that, then the guys and girls should arrange a guys house and a girls house for sleeping at--however, most of the after-party should be co-ed. Spend as much time together as possible! Have fun!

I didn't ask a girl until March, but it might have been later than what it best. I've heard of it happening in September, but we all made fun of that kid. I'd wait until at least after Christmas.
Before, Nothing. She'll want to prepare for the evening.
After, maybe a dessert, and a sport with a group. Be sure to end the evening by 11:00pm

you have PLENTY of time! have no fear! if there are girl's you are interested in going with or even dating then start getting to know them now so by the big day you won't feel so awkward. if you plan on getting a limo, start checking prices and saving you money. and a keep an eye out for restaurants in your budget (unless they are providing food there). you can usually deal with getting a tux and stuff a few week before the day. also! if ya plan on getting a hotel, make sure it's cool with her too, cause you don't want to pay for everything then find out she just wants to go home or something. it's not too much, if anything, just look nice, smell good, do some dancing (even if you suck) bring a camera and HAVE FUN!!!!! :-) ~kt

I was asked only 2 or 3 weeks before the prom, but then again, I wasn't one of those popular girls, so if the girl you want to ask may be be a very well known/liked person, you may want to ask sooner before someone else asks her out.

well wait till its closer to the time... Look i know u have heard rumors before in the past about what u do after prom.. U know going to hotels and renting rooms to have sex.. Dont do that.. maybe go to dinner before and go take pics at the dance and then afterwards take your girl home and let her know u had a really great time..

spring is so far away! it isn't even winter yet dude! chill out! you ask a girl like a month or 2 in advance. usually before prom you go to dinner and after prom, well duh! you go to the hottest after prom party! and hopefully get laid!
