Well, when you say was He really perfect you have to define what you mean by perfect. He was perfect in that He lived a life of sinless perfection. Does that mean that Jesus never made a mistake like when He was a little kid He never hit a glass of milk with his elbow and spilled it on the table? While it may be that He never even made a mistake like that, the Bible only says that He was perfect in the area of being free from sin. I hope that helps.

"For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. 1 Peter 2:21-25

JESUS is perfect in everyway!
Jesus was the perfect lamb--because He was without spot or blemish and he was also without sin--To take our penalty for sin! He who was without sin paid the perfect ransom for us!
All a person has to do is accept what Jesus has done for them and repent and they will have eternal life in Heaven!

Read the Bible and allow the Holy Spirit to show you the true essense of who Jesus is!

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities;but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Heb.4:15,16

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. John 17:23

God loves you, and may He bless you.

How can he be perfect if he was born in mans image?....if he was perfect why did he ask God to remove this burden from him just before he was arrested...I'm not saying he sinned but I'm saying because he was born in mans image he had mans desires...think about it.....
