Maybe you to have that special connection that wont go away and when you all see each other ( from a period away) its like reliving all the good or even bad times all over. its normal. although he does not call he probably cares and still thinks about you.

OLDEST trick in the book. (Pardon the pun!) Guys know that women can easily be coerced into sex by playing the "remember when" romantic card. Of course, he knows it's what you remember, and that you still have a thing for him. For him, it's just sex. It wouldn't matter which ex you were........#1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 on the speed dial. If you said no, he'd go to the next one on the list. That's why he doesn't stay. If he still loved you, he would never leave. And when he's between girls, he knows you're good to go. All he has to do is call and start the, "remember when....." and you're there!
Time to move on! You deserve better than this user! Find a guy who wants to be there for you EVERY day. Someone to answer your phone calls and call you back. Then, when your ex calls, you can say, "Sorry! You were good, but (new guy's name) is better. Don't call back.
