I think that sometimes it's necessary----especially if you've been married for a long time and maybe have a hard time getting turned on. If people actually had to pay the price for thinking things, we'd all be serving hard time.

Mathew 5: 27, 28 says: "You heard it was said, ' You must not commit adultery', but I say to you that everyone who keeps on looking at a woman as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery in his heart".

At first glance, that would seem to confirm that fantasizing about another woman is cheating, but let's look at something else. Remember that God told Cain to turn away from what was bad that sin was crouching at his door and he may not be able to gain mastery over it. That is to say, if you keep thinking about doing something, soon you'll start to plan it. Once you've entered this phase, what will stop you from doing it if the opportunity arises.
Now look at King David, who committed adultery with another man's wife, and then had her husband killed in an attempt to cover up his misconduct. It began with him watching Bathsheba from his roof top, but it wasn't until he committed the act that he was held responsible for it.

Finally, to return to the original scripture quoted, it doesn't say that the man has committed actual adultery, but that he has done so in his heart. It's like saying when there is a bounty on a person's life, "He's as good as dead". He may not have already been killed, but the first steps in taking that person's life have been taken.

So, to answer your question; No, fantasizing isn't cheating, but it certainly can lead to cheating if the person who fantasizes isn't careful to keep their thoughts in check (cause some times thoughts can briefly pass through your head without thinking about it which is different than fantasizing or entertaining the idea). How many people have cheated that wouldn't even allow themself to entertain the idea of being with another woman? Contrast that with how many men that have cheated probably had no problem thinking about other women. Make any sense to you?

No not really, every one fantasizes. Now if you follow up on them and actually do something, that would be cheating!
Fantasizing and dreaming are natural and normal.

Well I think if you fantasize about someone else then you should go and get someone that you will be totally happy with and not have to think about someone else to get off.
