My friend plays volleyball and the team is pretty good and has a shot at states. Problem is states and the school dance are on the same day.I asked her about a week and a half ago and she said she wantd me to go and have a good time at the dance, but i said i would be happy goin to her state tournament and watchin the team play.. She thinks im nice and i really like the girl and want to make her happy. So should i go to the dance without a date or watch her at states?

Her future and well-beingn is what matters most. Don't put yourself ahead of her and encourage her in her endeavour. Support her and tell her to go to the tournament and do her best, this is a great oppurtunity for her.

I think that going to watch her would really make her happy.She'll know that you care about her.
