I have two puppies, we got one in may when he was two months and one in April, when she was two months. My male dog puppy was completely trained within a month. However, the female is now almost 6 months old and going potty in the house many times a day. We trained them both the same way...yet she just doesnt seem to get it. I feed them at the same time each day, and take them out at the same time. Someone is home all day with her-she is taken out many times. She is rewarded when she goes potty outside. She poos in the house atleast once a day. I dont know what to do next. Is it possible she will just never get it? I need helo im going crazy!! What else can i do?

I would check with a vet to make sure she dosen't have a bowel or urine control problem. If she is given a clean bill of health, then it could be just a behavior issue. In that case, I would take her to a professional for obedience and behavior management help.

I believe she's just gotten in a bad habit and what you need to do while you work on re-training her is keep her in the room with you so you can keep an eye on her. Before that though, you need to do a thorough cleaning to get rid of all the smells or else she'll keep on going back there.

You say she gets rewarded when she goes outside. Is the reward lots of praise the very instant she pees? It needs to be for her to make the association. You need to also bring her right back in then so she learns that that's potty time. She may just need a little more patience but at 6 months should be better. Sounds like you just need to watch her very closely because it sounds like a bad habit at this point.

While you're re-training her, she should be kept in a crate when no one's home to watch her and at night because if she's allowed to go in the house then, you're never going to get her trained. Good luck.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/kwQpd

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

Some dogs it takes longer. She is stubborn.....You might just have to spank her fanny-catch her in the act-spank-carry her outside!
