Yes, it is hard to hold the onions when you can only reaad the big writing, h/o means hold onions and it is written small on my little order pad they give me. Why can't the pick them off and throw them out the window? The crows like them.

Why do they only get you're order wrong when you use the drive-thru?
Also, how come everybody else in the car gets their order right?
And they think you're making a big deal out of nothing? Just "scrape the onions off".

Here are the magic words: "I'm allergic to onions." Restaurants hear about an allergy and they usually go out of their way to keep it away from you. They can't help picturing you writhing on the floor with your throat closed up, and the subsequent press coverage and lawsuit. Give it a try!

You'd think that it wouldn't be that hard, especially if yours is the only sandwich in the order. Our local Wendy's is terrible about fouling up an order that way -- my husband doesn't like onions, either.
As my mom would've said, "Those folks could foul up a two float parade!"

That happens to me alot cause I order alot of stuff and with kids in the car, you want to get it and go.When I get home it is all wrong and then I have to call the place and ask to speak to the manager and they usually offer free food next time, if you have your receipt but then you are so mad that you don't want to go back there any time soon.

First you should go and ask someone you know if your accent is difficult to understand.
If at a restaurant, it's good to point to the things on the menu, as well as saying them.
Remember that you might be the one at fault.

Maybe the guy holding them wanted to get them out of his hands and your sandwich was the closest.

Welcome to the world of automated humans! As a fast food worker, many work an assembly line. It is hard to leave something off that they put on daily.
