what is the easiets cardio that won't bring my athsma up or hurt my ankles that crack in less than a mile?

First get very good tennis shoes that have a lot of support and cushioning. Because your ankles hurt you may want to check with a pediatrist.

The easiest cardio is walking, with less stress on a treadmill.

One most people don't think of is swimming which will not stress the ankle.

But before you start exercising, check with the doctor who is treating your asthma.

Yoga - You would be surprised how much cardio there is to yoga. Get a tape.

hm, dance dance revolution if you don't step so hard! it gets your heart rate up, and it sort of brings my asthma up if i do some standard and most heavy songs. but light is very good and challening also.
