What is something funny and unusual I can do at my wedding reception during the garter removal from my bride?

You can tell her not to do it because it is terribly tacky and embarrassing to watch. How do you allow something like that right after a religious ceremony where you made vows before God? It's beyond me.

heres a good one my bro. did this at his wedding got a great reaction from everyone: take the garter aff with your teeth. and while your head is under her dress but a pair of lacey panties on your head. also who ever catches the garter has to put it on the same way the groom took it off, there is a catch the unsuspecting guy who does this will have to be blindfolded, not knowing there has been a switch. you see you have one of you groomsmen come out in a night gown with a knee high on one leg, that's just to let the guy think it's the lady that caught the bridal bouquet. then when the guy is about 1/4 of the way up the leg you tear off the blindfold. the shock and surprise on his face will be worth all the comotion. trust me we had such a great time with that one. The blindfold gets put on after the lady that accually caught the flowers is sitting in the chaiir then hurry and make the switch be fore he gets started. sounds complicated but its not. good one!!!

If you want to pull it off with your teeth come out with a rubber chicken between your teeth instead of the garter or some really strange item that might have a special meaning to you and your bride or maybe a bra instead of a garter or come out with whipped cream all over your face.

OK....Here is a funny idea: get like a small bag of various items together....funny, sexual stuff....OK? Before she sits down for you to remove the garter, slip the bag under her dress! Then when you are under there, and people are waiting for you to remove the garter, you are under there like throwing stuff behind you!!! And you're going, "where did this come from?" And you throw condoms, lubrication, a dildo and all kinds of things like that out from under her dress. But the people at your reception have to have a good sense of humor about it. (Well, maybe not a dildo if you're going to have young children there, but you know what I mean.)
As for the actual removal of the garter, if you can dance, I would suggest dancing to a really cool song while you're removing it. That'll make it very interesting. Good luck and have fun!!

Get a creeper, you know one of those wheeled things you use when you're working under your car. Have a couple of wrenches stuck in your belt, lay down and slide under. It works best if the bride has a big dress. Come out with the garter in one of the wrenches. As an added gag, get some sound effects of jack hammers and shop noises somebody can play while you're under there.
