I live in california.. i want a tattoo and am 16. Some people have told me that you have to be 16 with parent consent while others tell me you have to be 18 with or without concent.... can someone tell me wich it is? thanks<3

18, some places won't even work on you with a parental consent. I live in CA too. I called around, to find out. Just whatever you do make sure the place is very clean and all. Good luck :)

you can get a tattoo under 18 as long as your parent signs a consent form.

If there are any tattoo artists that would tattoo a 16 year old, I sure as hell wouldn't go to them.
