This link describes my relationship with my girlfriend (were both 13). It was 3:00 clock in the morning and I was awoken to her moaning next to me. I turned over and asked her whats wrong. She said she was having a stomach ache. I went down stairs and got her some gingerale. I heard her scream again and I dropped the glass in shock. I ran back up the stair and into the room. I looked at the sheets and they were complety soaked through with blood (It was about time she got her first period though)! I looked at Ali's face and she was crying now.

I ran out and got my mom and she stayed with her all night. I couldn't sleep the whole time.I asked her if I should still spend the nights with her and she said yes but I'm not sure I can.I know it only happens once a month but I'll always remmeber this. What should I do?

Nobody say I shouldn't have slept there from the beginning

If you say you are not having sex that is cool. But don't you get any temptation? If so you both need to be wise about it and use condoms or something. Just make sure you are using it right. Now she can get pregnant. I wouldn't want to read your story about how young you are and your girlfriend is pregnant on this site. You did the right thing. You acted mature and asked your mother for help. I am guessing you don't want to spend the night because it freaked you out. In about 15 - 20 years you wont care if your girlfriend has her period when you make love. All woman have it. Get on with your relationship w/ her. It is a fact of life deal with it. You asked her about staying the night and she said that you still could. Think about how freaked out she was. Not to mention embarrassed. Try to understand how she feels. For the rest of her life, eveytime she gets her period she will remember you.

Maybe I'm an old grandma, but when did it become okay for 13 year olds to have a relationship and spend the night together?

The fact that you are totally freaked out by your "girlfriend's" menstrual cycle tells me you shouldn't be in such a serious relationship! You're way too young!

take the high ground and be somewhere else and hope that the whole thing is gone cause it will not be of any communicable time to ever bring it up. you only have to store it away=what is learned can't be unlearned, and when it is none of your business and it was just by accident you are involved=I'd get uninvolved in it and if others bring it up don't light any fires under it or you could be in a lose to figure that out too.

Your mom most likely talked to her about having periods. Your girlfriend will now have pads to keep that from happening again.
You need to realize that this was a one time thing and let it go.
I would go ahead and still spend the nights with her.

wow.. that must have been extremely embaracing, i feel bad for her, that had to suck. but things like that happen. but seriously if people at school make fun of her about that if u told people then u should protect her because of that incedent. she can get made fun of so easily for that. and 1 thing for u to realize is that for every girl, that stuff happends, its natural. just be carefull about the time of the month if your arround her, because when it gets to that time she could either be happy or she can be mad as hell. so watch what u say and give her space if u dont it might have a bad out come

hope i helped
