my boyfriend loves me so much. he loves everything about me and finds me flawless. you can tell by how he looks at me and how he says things. he would do anything for me, and he says he can't picture life with out me, that he loves me more with each passing day. and he' always complementing me. i don't really like that, i don't even know why, but i sometimes i feel as if he's just way too obsessed with me. that i can practically get away with everything and he wouldn't get mad. i'm not sure if i love him too, but i do know that i don't love him like he loves me. and even though he knows i don't feel the same way about him, he doesn't care. is it even possible to love someone that much? cuz up until now, i thought it was impossible. I mean, what is it about me that he likes so much? i don't see it.

I had someone who loved me that much. And my dad was like that too.

It's not you. He's a loving person. If you marry him, he will love your children the same way. My dad wrote poems for each of our birthdays! He wouldn't let us (six girls) vacuum or mop floors; he did it. He bought flowers for each of us for Valentine's Day.

My fiance would stare at me in an uncontrollable fashion, wherever we were.

With both these men, I was humbled by their ability to love, and accepted it graciously. I also tried my best to not take advantage of them, knowing that they were sensitive souls (although formidable in their work and sports lives) who deserved respect for their capacity to love.

Keep reminding yourself that it's his ability, not you. Whomever he chooses to love will get the same benefit, so you better get busy deserving it to keep him around!

This is an extreme. think of the other extreme to this one. i.e. your boyfriend hates you and finds flaws in whatever you do, and he starts avoiding you. he sees less and less of you with each passing day and stops complementing you and starts critisizing you and so on.
Now would you like this situation or the previous one?
Somtimes fanasy becomes a reality, but at that point may be you are not ready to accept a reality

if he really doesn't care that you don't feel the same way back - then it must be real. i mean, think about it, if he KNOWS he's not gonna get the same kind of attention back from you, but he doesn't change the way he feels- it must be real. you're probably a wonderful girl and he sees everything he needs in you. :) so don't worry about it and be happyyy

maybe you're just scared to love him back because you've finally found someone who loves you for you.. just love him back, or try to, and see how it goes.. if it doesn't work then i'd say he's just obsessive but i really don't think thats the case.

If you love him, stay with him and be happy. However, if you don't love him, let him go now, before it goes farther.
