I'm saying, once I or they give them the green light, will they start making my custom set away, or do I to keep coming back for another consultation. I heard it takes them 4-5 weeks for them to make your set.

You have to go through a series of steps before you get your trays. First you have to go through orthodontic records so the dentist can do measurements and stuff like that. Then usually you consult after that. Then when you have the green light you have to go through a series of impressions to be sent away to have your trays made. Yes, it takes about a month before you get your first set of trays.

Yeah. It takes a few weeks because, depending on how crooked your teeth are, they have to make multiple inserts. Before you get your first insert, you have to go in and approve a computer animation they show you, showing the process your teeth will go through while using invisalign. After that, you will get your first insert a week later! :)

Ok, so you tell them that you want to do the Invisalign. Your first appointment will be impressions, photos of your teeth & face and a panoramic x-ray. They will ship them to Invisalign & within a month you should have your trays.

They do measurements and all, take molds and then they send off for them to be made. It may be a couple weeks before you get started. Itll be a set, youll wear one for so long, then youll go to the next one for so long, then the next. They always send for the next set before you need them.

My mom is doing invisilign right now.
