Coming from another Black female (well, mostly Black), I think you and your family need to get over the race thing. Who cares what race he is? And who cares if your "family just ain't about that". Bump them; this is YOUR life, not theirs. Race should NOT matter; the person should. I've had guys of quite a few nationalities check me out. And I'm mostly attracted to Latino guys, as quite a few are to me. Let down your upbringing and live life, girl.

They come after me a lot. Some of the most good looking men I've seen. But, I have to admit I'm afraid. I always feel like they want to use me. It's sad but some still think like that. Maybe they've open up mentality, are less afraid of what people think, and are looking from women from other races these days sinve there is such a lack of white girls for them now.

Would you believe this? I am sixty five years of age. and seem to be attracted to them. I am not a beauty queen. but I am well groomed, Black in complexion with beautiful skin. intelligent and educated. I think my personality is "cool" as you youngsters say. I like to laugh and carry a great smile. I have never had a man out of my race, But I think when it come to "Love" it should be color blind. Time is out for all this color crap. Your family need to get with the times. Be slow about a relationship. But if it is to be. time will take care of everything. Good Luck. Grandmother Mary.

Go for it, who cares if your family isn't 'about that' I mean come on we're in 2006 you are not betraying your race or anything, besides there is nothing wrong with it.

one of my friends is black and white guys love her. she has a 20 inch waist and a tight 38 inch butt!!! she gets pluggged alot. if you know what i mean....

but the one thing my friends doesnt like is the look other black guys and girls give her when they see her with a white guy.

I just tell my friend to enjoy herself and follow her heart.

I'd say go for it. He may be the one for you. Love has no color, if he's respectful, treat you nice and has something going for himself then go for it. Don't let true love pass you by.
