Wouldn't snipers work better? You can't climb over a sniper, you cant dig under a sniper, you can't cut through a sniper, and if you don't get by the sniper the first time you are a problem we never have to deal with again. It can't be any worse than mexican military beating men they catch illegally crossing their border and raping the women.

Securing the border, would not unavoidably propose a fence alongside the entire length of the borders. It skill shelter the border by skill of any skill available. whilst human beings commit acts of violence against our border brokers, then it extremely is an act of conflict. you do no longer advantages human beings for committing crimes like that. definite, our seaports are susceptible additionally, however the government has stepped up and greater protection there, and so has private industry that function the ports, airports and so on. as a procedures simply by fact the Northern border, Canada has additionally stepped up, and that they've protection on their area. the great concern seems to be like on the Southern Border, the place the mexican government quite encourages their voters to bypass illegally and alter into criminals. Now, you let us know back, precisely the place the priority is?

I have been saying this for along time now, A fence 90 feet deep and 90 feet high or turn the border in to a U.S military sniper training base.

I don't think so. Sniper's have to sleep, eat, be trained, etc and can even become corrupt. A well done fence that incorporates a great deal of technolgy to sense people trying to break it, climb it, or tunnel under it works 24/7. If we combine it with UAVs, border patrol agents, and other enforcement mechanisms, we would have the border under control.

Maybe the snipers could be used as additional support, and I wouldn't be opposed to it, but it could turn into a public relations disaster and turn people away from enforcement.

How about a new border treaty to go along with the US/Mexico border fence? I think Mexico should build a fence parallel to ours.
That way, it's a partnership between nations to keep good borders...

Not a realistic suggestion. Border fence w/ razor wire and well-patrolled would be more realistic.
Meanwhile, back at the voting booth...
