just take deep breaths slowly before your presentation
and think of something else while your doing your speech so you don't get worked up. is your teacher aware of your anxiety attacks . i know they're not fun to go through .

best of luck

I have anxiety problems too. Sometime, as a result of the anxiety, my nose starts to bleed. That happened to me right before a presentation. Knowing the material really well helps me get through it. Also, I like to focus on a friend who is in the class when saying a presentation. I imagine that I am only saying my speech to that friend. Hope this helps. Good luck!

You need to take them aside and talk to them, I don't feel you should have to give a presentation especially if its going to cause more anxiety for you, there are other ways to make a good grade. I'd ask for extra homework assignments to take place of a presentation, that way they won't think your just doing it to get out of the presentation. Good luck I hope your teachers will work with you on it. Hugs! Von

One thing you might consider doing is discussing your anxiety with your teacher. Since you have it to the extent that you are receiving counseling and taking medications, maybe they would work out an alternative to having to present to your peers. If they are trying to find out how much you know about something, then perhaps presenting just to them would work. However, if it is any consolation, I, like you take anxiety meds, and in high school I could not present without flipping out. I would rather take the zero than go through the torture. However, now that I am an adult, I am able to stand up in front of huge crowds and present without a care. Not sure what happened, but maybe you'll "grow out of it" too.

Practice... use your family as guniea pigs, have them sit while you talk, and let them give you tips.
