I lost a lot of weight, but in the last month I put back on almost 10 POUNDS. Now I can't believe i let myself go. My question is since I lost weight before and just recently gained some back. Will those 10 pounds be easier to lose this time around?......I sure hope so

Actually, I'm sorry to tell you this but the weight will probably be harder to lose the second time around. That's because when you lose weight, you usually lose both fat and muscle. But when you gain it back, you only gain fat. So your ratio of lean body mass (muscle) to fat is probably not as good as it was before you lost the weight. In other words, you might be the same weight and/or the same size as before, but you have less muscle on your body and more fat.

Muscle tissue burns more calories than fat tissue. So in losing muscle, you've slowed down your metabolism. Therefore, your body burns fewer calories. So it is harder to lose weight.

The best thing to do would be to exercise regularly. Focus on interval training and weight training to get some of that muscle back. Don't starve yourself, or you'll make the problem worse in the long run.

The older you are the harder it is to lose weight, it seems. Some people can lose it easily and others struggle. Since you lost it pretty quick the first time, it should be easy to do it again.
