I am pretty good about taking my pill, but I forgot last night and took it this night. Not long after, my boyfriend and I had sex. But he pulled out, because I was worried b/c I forgot to take my pill. What are my chances?

I've been taking the pill for two years, and we don't normally use the pull-out method. I know it's crap; I'm not 15. I just wanted him to pull out to decrease the chance.

Exiostant but slim. VFisit sexualhealth.com and youll see precum can make you pregnant very rarely almost impossibly and theyll explain why. However, the chance is there and if your not looking to start a family use protection, always.

When you miss a pill, you need to take it as soon as you remember. Don't skip it entirely. Take your next one as scheduled. If this means you need to take two pills at once, that's ok. But if you miss more than two, you need to start all over again.
If you have been on the pill steadily for at least two cycles, your chances of being pregnant are pretty slim. But you can never be too careful. "Pulling out" is essentially worthless, so if you get worried easily you may want to make your boyfriend wear a condom as well.
I'd recommend taking a pregnancy test so that you know for sure.

It depends on how long you've been taking the pill already. They know people aren't going to be perfect. That pull out method by the way, is worthless, so it all comes down to if you've been taking the pill at least a month.

This mostly has to do with what time of the month it is for you. If the last day of your last period was within one week prior to the day you forgot, you may be in danger. If it has been over a week since your period then you should be fine. There is a 72 hour pill available at any public health clinic for free. getting it should rest your mind either way.

The chance is very real. Use the morning after pill. It's the same as the birth control pill, but a higher dose. It will preven you from ovulating if you haven't already. Do it fast. Go to planned parenthood, or your doctor.

And people wonder why so many kids are having babies.

Here is a bit of a newsflash dear, Birth Control can fail even if you take every pill the way you are suppose to and do not miss one.

My mother is a GYN and she has seen so many kids get pregnant because thier Birth Control fail and I can not begin to tell you how many people I know who had babies before theywere 18 because they were to dumb to know Birth Control can fail and guess what most of them have twins because Birth Control increases chances of multiples. My best friend is pregnant with twins right now because her Birth Control failed.

Next time you spread your legs use a condom

Pretty slim chance of getting pregnant. Almost no chance. If he withdrew before he came then you are pretty safe, but not 100 % as some seminal fluid will "leak" out during intercourse before he actually comes. If you usually take your pill regularly, and it's not a "mini -pill" then you should be ok.

uhhh no offense.. but i dont think i would trust a guy on this subject. Skipping/missing a pill increases your chance of getting pregnant no matter how long you have been taking them, one month or 10 years.
