Worst I heard so far was a 6 year relationship being cut off by a text message. That is REALLY harsh. I mean at least send them a phone call.

Try this worst brake-up excuses :

"I'm holding you back from all the other lives you could be ruining."

"You're too young for me. I mean, too *old*. We're the same age? Well, that doesn't work for me, either."

"If I've told you once, I've told you ten times: the name is Jennifer now!"

Worst way. I would say either over the phone, getting someone else to do it for you, or by writing a "dear john" letter.

Telling other people ,you both know, that you broke up with her, but not her. Word will pass on. Avoiding her and her calls. Yeah, i think that pretty much would make her feel bad especially because there is no explanation as to why you made that decision.

Ah, you havn't seen the latest movie with Uma Thurman! I can't remember what its called, but when the guy's buddy breaks up with a girl (or she breaks up with him- can't remember) He shows up to her doorstep with a pie she thinks is a gift, but he shoves it in her face and runs away. He does this several times throughout the movie and I must say, I havent seen a more comical way to say "we're through"

The worst way is to lie...or wait until the person feels something is not going well....or wait until you can stand that person and be rude.........
it's better to be straightforward to that person and tell her or him I can't do it anymore....i don't feel the same etc......Respect is the best way of ....Be a man.....**** happens........I'm sure she or he will understand at the end....Good luck...

To not give them closure. Cut them off cold-turkey. No discussion, no email, no communication whatsoever, and never talk to them again. THAT is about as cruel as you can get.
