Good question and point being made. Unlike the rest of humanity, Mary seems to have been guided her whole life by the Holy Spirit. In Michaelangelo's painting of Adam touching the had of God could you imagine the influence of actually being touched by God? As the Bible says, ...before you were born I knew you, before you were conceived I consecrated you... (Jeremiah)
Is it too hard to imagine that Mary was conceived without sin to become the Mother of God? As the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION Mary plays a role in our redemption. When Jesus was crucified he gave Mary to all of us as a Spiritual Mother to ask for help and guidance. This was done when Jesus told John, "...behold your mother..." Mary is not John's actual mother but our Spiritual Mother. This is why Greek, Russian, Eastern Orthodox Churches and the Catholic Church honor Mary as a Spiritual Mother. Other denomenations wrongly mistaken this honor due to the Mother of God as worship.
It is also interesting to note that Jesus first public miracle at the wedding feast at Cana Mary told the servants to, "...do what he says..." Mary was also present on Pentacost when the Holy Spirit descended upon her and the Apostles.

If Mary said "no" it may have taken God another few thousand years to find another consecrated virgin, and to bring about another "fullness of time" for his son to be born.
The Old Testament would be a lot bigger.
The Jews would probably still have aTemple, and would still be sacrificing animals.
Most of today's Christians would still be pagan gentiles.
The world would still likely be dominated by kings, dictators, and forces of arms.
The cross would not be the Christian symbol it is today.
Columbus may not have discovered America yet.
Most important of all, heaven would still be off limits, and we would still be trapped in our sins, enslaved to death and Satan.

Well, she wouldn't have chosen for one haha. But hypothetically had she said no, God would've just found someone else for Jesus to come by. It was a big plan, and there is no way in this world it could have been altered.

God would have already known that she would have said no, so He would have chosen someone else... and by the way, don't worship Mary... God is the only one we should be giving praise to.

Every body is destined for come thing "small" or "big".
Mother Mary was the chosen one in God's Plan.
There are no "ifs" and "buts" .. in His plans.

God would find another available soul. People have told God no many times and I heard it say that they were God's 3rd choice to do a specific task.

Interesting question.
Since God is all powerful, I'm sure another way would have been found. I'm just glad she did!
Bless us all.

Jesus came into this world through the union of sperm and egg. God had nothing to do with it.
