I am taking 'distalgesic' for inflammatory arthritis which is co-proxamol... I live in Europe and I am on an extended stay in Canada and wish to have a prescription for these tablets as I am running out.. what would be the generic or named brand of this drug in canada? Thanks

I'm an RN so wanted to help you. Co-proxamol goes by the name of Cosalgesic. It is a combination analgesic consisting of Paracetamol and the opiate Dextropropoxyphene which has morphine like actions. As you know it is sold by Rx only. Good luck to you.
