What is a good radio with very good sensitivity, very good selectivity on AM band with decent sound?

I like the Sony 2010 (AKA 2001D). This is an older unit not currently in production, but they can be found on eBay and such.

Great AM reception. You can select narrow or wide AM. Also allows Synchronous detection, where the radio selects only a single sideband for reception.
