There is a girl at school that I somewhat like and am 99% sure she still likes me, but because of time/parent issues we are not able to go out. We tried dating over the summer, but we were only able to go to one movie together. I was thinking of buying a little piece of jewlry and putting it in her locker with a note saying "just because we are friends". The only reasion I can think of for doing this is just to be nice. Is this a good idea?

What a sweetheart!! Yes, what a great idea! The note explains everything and the gift is just a cute idea. I think she'll love it. Most girls do anyway. I had a guy friend give me a gift like that once when we were good friends and I still have it! Good luck!!

No and I don't think her parents should allow her to accept jewelry from boys, especially one she is not dating. I think it sounds a bit manipulative.
