whats does the christian bible say about transsexualism? im wanting to know if any scriptures say anything or mention anything about transsexualism, if anyone can tell me some scripture names that would be great, thanks

The Bible is not entirely Christian. Genesis to Malachi was written before the Christian era.

The Bible says nothing about transsexuals. However, in the Genesis account of creation, we read that Jehovah made the animals (and later man) male and female. Whatever was born male remains male, regardless of any physical alterations. The same applies to females.

About the closest I could com to that would be the scripture that tells women not to dress in manly garments and for a man not to dress in womanly things.

This is about crossdressing, which is one aspect of transexuality.

Deuteronomy 22:5

Nothing specific. The Bible teaches that G-d does not make mistakes, so if a person thinks they are the wrong gender; then the problem is with them...not G-d.

Hey Leslie, God doesn't even want the clothing to be different. So the other parts . . . . I guess you have to put two and two together for that one.

Remember though, it's not how you can observe perfection in God's law, because the new law is faith. That is: trusting God for His promises.

I'd feel safe in saying that there weren't too many doctors practicing that particular procedure in biblical times. I'd also feel pretty safe in saying that the Bible-thumpers will probably tell you that it probably pisses God off.
