i have a jingtong fm radio and it came from hong kong but i cant get it to charge here in the states?

Make sure you have the right charger. They make a 240 volt model, which will not work in the US.

If you are sure it's the 110V model, meter the tabs that touch the battery. There should be at least 7.2 volts here.

Make sure the contacts are connecting to the battery.
